You can export specific OpsRamp data to S3 (see Exports for more details). This involves installing the Amazon S3 Exporter integration with the bucket details.


Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary IAM permissions to create IAM roles and policies in AWS.

Step 1: Install the Integration

  1. From All Clients, select a client.

  2. Log in to the OpsRamp portal.

  3. Navigate to Setup > Account.

  4. On the ACCOUNT DETAILS page, select Integrations and Apps.

  5. The INSTALLED INTEGRATIONS page is displayed with all the installed applications.
    Note: If there are no installed applications, it will navigate to the AVAILABLE INTEGRATIONS AND APPS page.

  6. Click + ADD on the INSTALLED INTEGRATIONS page. The AVAILABLE INTEGRATIONS AND APPS page displays all the available applications along with the newly created application.
    Note: You can even search for the application using the search option available. Also, you can use the All Categories option to search.

  7. Click ADD in the AWS S3 application.

  8. Click Install on the AWS S3 Integration page.

  9. From Install AWS S3 Integration page, enter:

    • Name: Name of the Integration.
    • Logo: Logo you upload depending on the integration type.
  10. Click Install.

Step 2: Configure the Integration

  1. Generate Access Keys for the S3 bucket through the AWS console.
  2. Enter the following details in the integration:
    • Access Key ID: Access Key to access the S3 bucket.
    • Secret access key: Secret Key to access the S3 bucket.
    • Bucket Name: Name of the AWS S3 bucket for the export data.
    • Base URI: Data location in the AWS S3 bucket. For example,
    1. Click Save.
