Introduction

An Azure Data Share account is a resource in Microsoft Azure that enables secure and managed data sharing between organizations without requiring data movement or infrastructure setup. You maintain full control over data access and can define terms of use in accordance with your enterprise policies. Choose snapshot-based sharing to create a copy of the provider’s data or in-place sharing to reference data directly from the provider’s account.
