Risks, Limitations and Assumptions

• The Integration can handle critical and recovery failure alert notifications for the following two cases when the user enables App Failure Notifications in the configuration:
  • Connectivity Exception
  • Authentication Exception
• The Integration does not control monitoring pause/resume actions based on the above alerts. Metrics can be used to monitor Scality resources and generate alerts based on predefined threshold values.
• Component-level thresholds can be configured for each resource.
• Activity logs and applied times are not supported.
• The minimum supported version for obtaining the latest snapshot metric is NextGen-15.0.0.
• This Integration supports both Classic Gateway and NextGen Gateway.
• If vastdata_cluster_license_Status metric value is not “EXPIRED” then only the metric values for the following metrics will be populated:
  • vastdata_cluster_license_ValidPeriod
  • vastdata_cluster_license_ValidPeriodIsUnlimited
  • vastdata_cluster_license_Capacity
  • vastdata_cluster_license_CapacityIsUnlimited
  • vastdata_cluster_license_DaysRemainForExpiry
  • vastdata_cluster_license_IsUnlimitedExpiry
• If the metric value of vastdata_cluster_license_ValidPeriodIsUnlimited is FALSE, then only graph will be populated for vastdata_cluster_license_ValidPeriod.
• If the metric value of vastdata_cluster_license_CapacityIsUnlimited is FALSE, then only graph will be populated for vastdata_cluster_license_Capacity.
• If the metric value of vastdata_cluster_license_IsUnlimitedExpiry is FALSE, then only graph will be populated for vastdata_cluster_license_DaysRemainForExpiry.
