Default Monitoring Configurations
Microsoft SCVMM integration in OpsRamp includes default Global Device Management Policies, Global Templates, Global Monitors, and Global Metrics. These defaults provide baseline monitoring configurations. Users can customize them to align with their business requirements by cloning the respective global templates and Device Management Policies. It is recommended to perform this customization before installing the integration to minimize noise from unnecessary alerts and data. By default, these can be accessed at the following location:
Navigate to Setup -> Resources -> Device Management Policies and search using suggested names in global scope.

OpsRamp provides a Global Device Management Policy for each native type of Microsoft SCVMM.

OpsRamp provides a Global Template for each native type of Microsoft SCVMM.
