Introduction
The Hardware Details app provides users with the hardware details of selected resources.
Configuration Parameters
- Add Query: Use the query to select the entities that you wish to include in the report.
- Default query: The default query
{state = "active" AND monitorable = "true"
will be populated by default when opening the Hardware Details app. The user can modify or delete the default query and run a custom query.

- Client Selection: You can select a single client from the dropdown list. Only selected client data will get into the report.
- Select Category: Select the category of devices to produce a report for. The options are Neighborhood Devices, Physical Components, or Thin Access Points.
- Analysis Period: The supported analysis period is a Snapshot report.
- Supported Format: Reports are generated only in XLSX format.
Reports Output
Once the report is generated, it will consist of the following sections:
- Summary: This section provides the configuration details.
- Details: This section provides details in regard to Neighborhood Devices, Physical Components, and Thin Access Points based on the user’s selection.
Note
To retrieve the neighboring devices of resources, the query will automatically append resourceTypePath CONTAINS 'network device'
.
To retrieve the the thin access points of the resources, the query will automatically append resourceTypePath CONTAINS 'network device' AND (type = 'WLAN Controller')
.
