If a running instance is in an error state or needs to be canceled, you can cancel it, which also removes it from the running instances list.

Perform any troubleshooting activities for a running instance before you cancel it. When an instance is canceled and removed from the running instance list, the process instance details are no longer available.

  1. Click Automation > Process Definition > Process Instances > Running Instances to view the list of running instances.
  2. On the Running Instances page, on the row of the process instance you want to cancel, click the actions menu on the right.
  3. Click Cancel.
  4. At the prompt, click Yes to confirm and cancel the running instance.
