Introduction

A new alert filter feature has been introduced to narrow down and view specific alerts by selecting a date range, filtering by the time an alert was created or updated, and choosing metrics. Once these filters are applied, the topology map will display only the alerts that match the specified criteria. This feature enhances the monitoring experience by focusing on relevant alerts, allowing for quicker identification and resolution of issues.

To apply alert filter:

  1. Navigate to Infrastructure > Network Topology.

  2. Select Network Device and select a device from the drop-down list. The topology explorer is displayed with the base resource you selected and its neighbours including the connections, based on the Depth level.

  3. Click the Alert Filter icon.

  4. Choose a specific time frame by using the date range selector. You can select the time for which you want to see alerts, such as Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, or a custom date range.

  5. You can filter alerts based on the By Updated Time or By Created Time.

  6. You can also filter the alerts by selecting specific metrics from the dropdown list.

  7. Once you have configured the date range and metric filters, click Apply.
The Network Topology Map will automatically refresh, displaying only the alerts that match your filter criteria.
